FAQ
Why $299 flat? What's the catch?+
There isn't one. We don't take a cut of your revenue, we don't charge per coach or per location, and we don't bolt on a setup fee. We charge a 10% handling fee on card transactions when you use our shared Powertranz merchant — but you can connect your own Powertranz merchant and skip that entirely.
Can I migrate my members from MindBody / Mariana Tek?+
Yes. We import members, packs, memberships, and schedule history via CSV. White-glove onboarding is included — we'll do it with you.
What about my own brand?+
You get a free branded subdomain (yourname.surfsidestudio.app). Custom domains and dual logos (light + dark) are included. Your members never see Surfside Studio branding inside the portal.
How long is the contract?+
Month-to-month. Cancel anytime from the admin console. We'll export your data within 7 days, no questions.
Do I have to use Powertranz?+
We process cards through Powertranz today (excellent rates for Caribbean studios). You can use our shared merchant and pay 10% handling, or connect your own Powertranz credentials and pay 0% handling on top of your own processor's rate.
What if I need a feature you don't have?+
Tell us. We ship customer-requested features every two weeks and don't charge extra for them. The roadmap is driven by paying studios.
